Intermediate Group

What: Orlando Camera Club Intermediate Group

When: the 4th Monday of every month, 5:30 – 6:20 p.m.

Where: Main Ballroom at the Marks Street Senior Center (moving to the Oak Room in June)

A focus of this group will be to prepare you to enter the Orlando Camera Club competitions (hyperlink to https://orlandocameraclub.com/member-area/competitions/) by delving into the skills and equipment you’ll need to take photos to enter the next competition. (Please note you need to be logged into the club website as a member to access the competitions page.)

Competition entry is not a requirement of the group, but it is a good way to learn and grow in your photography. You’ll receive constructive advice from a seasoned professional photographer and/or artist.

In months not preceding a competition, we’ll work on other skills and techniques that are of interest to group members. If you have some thoughts on what you’d like to discuss, email [email protected]

What to bring:

  • Bring your camera!
  • Bring your questions
  • Bring a notepad and pencil or pen
  • Bring a friend (and invite them to join the club)
