Greetings OCCers!

Let’s go to the Brevard Zoo on Sunday, Nov. 15th!  They open at 9:30, so let’s get there between 9:00 and 9:30 so we can go in together, we can then spread out, and meet up for lunch at a designated time.  The weather will be cool, which will make it a much more comfortable experience than if we went in the summer, for us and the animals.  The BIG news at the Brevard zoo is their baby giraffe “GAIL,”  pictured here….she is a Masai Giraffe, a species that has been on the endangered list.  If you have not been before, this is a beautiful 75-acre zoo with many natural habitats for it’s more than 800 animals.  Plenty of “Kodak Moments”to be had by all.

TICKETS:  We will each buy our own tickets, whether on-line or on-site
COST:        Seniors:  (65+). $28.95 online, $30.95 on-site
Adults:              $34.95 online, $36.95 on-site
They also offer the AZA Reciprocal Admission
GEAR:     I will be taking my 24-240 zoom, but you may want to bring a longer lens.
LUNCH:  Either the NOURISH CAFE on-site, or we can go to a restaurant off-site
